Outside condensation can occur with well-insulated glass. Moisture on the room side often calls for ventilation and steady heating. Mist between panes needs professional assessment; it cannot be wiped away.
02Clean glass safely without scratches
Use lukewarm water, a soft cloth and a mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads, blades and aggressive products that may damage glass, coatings, seals or frames.
03Find where a draught comes from
Without loosening anything, check whether air comes from an opening section, vent or glass edge. Do not block vents or apply sealant at random; take photos if the issue persists.
04Cracked or broken glass: do not repair it yourself
Do not touch the glass. Keep children and pets away and cordon off the area without leaning on it. Do not remove shards from the frame. Call 06 5576 1035; call 112 if anyone is in immediate danger.
